Château de Montrevost Renovated in 2021, this beautiful 16-19th century Château, for exclusive holiday rental, is located 10 minutes from the city of Tournus, famous for its gastronomy, and walking distance from Cuisery town shops.

Please note that the Château is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.

The Château has 10 bedrooms and a children's room.

One bedroom is located on the ground floor, five bedrooms on the first floor and four bedrooms are on the second floor along with the children's bedroom.

All ten bedrooms have two twin beds of 90cm x 200cm. The twin beds can be joined together to make a 180cm x 200cm queen-size double bed. Just let us know in advance the configuration desired by your party members.

The beds are made up for your arrival.

All bedrooms have adjoining private en-suite bathrooms.
2 bedrooms on the 1st floor are equipped with HD TV, Satellite TV and Blu-ray DVD player.
Three baby cots are available on request and a child bed (190x80cm).

The capacity is limited to 21 persons.

The child and baby bedroom

The children's room on the 1st floor includes:

• A 80 x 190cm child's bed.
• A traditional baby bed (with wooden bars) of good quality.
• A wardrobe.
• A changing table.

Two baby chairs are available in the dining room.

The bathrooms

The 10 bedrooms each have their own adjoining bathroom. Tastefully renovated for your comfort, each bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, and a WC.

A hairdryer is available in each bathroom.

Peaceful nights

The castle is far from the main roads and any noise disturbance.

The large living room

With nearly 52m2, the large living room is furnished with sofas and armchairs for about twenty guests. The room is richly decorated with a beautiful fresco on the recently renovated ceiling, superb parquet floors and wood mouldings. The large windows offer views over the park.

This room also has a large HD TV screen, Satellite TV, Blu-Ray DVD player and a DVD library of more than 100 films. A book library is also at your disposal.

The small living room

In the oldest part of the castle, dating back to the 16th century, the small living room offers a cozy atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat. Here, you can enjoy a game of chess or poker (the large poker table seats eight), or have an aperitif with friends.

By the fireside

This room also has a large 16th century open fireplace. In autumn and winter, wood is provided to you free of charge.

The dining room

Like the living room, the large windows overlook the park, allowing ample natural light to flood in. This illumination highlights the beautifully renovated painted ceiling, period woodwork, and oak floors. The dining table can accommodate up to 20 guests and a wide assortment of tastefully chosen crockery and cutlery is at your disposal.

The kitchen

The huge kitchen with its French ceiling has direct access to the pool terrace with its outdoor dining area. The kitchen is equipped with the following items:

• Large professional stove with 5-burner gas hob and large electric oven
• 2nd traditional oven,
• 2 microwave ovens
• 2 dishwashers (detergent provided
• 2 large refrigerators with freezer compartments and ice makers
• Toaster
• Full range of kitchen equipment, utensils and accessories

• 2 high chairs

The breakfast area provides a traditional coffee machine, Senseo and Nespresso coffee machines and an electric kettle.

A large granite counter top in the center of the room offers plenty of space for food preparation. With the stools around it and another table with seating for ten, the kitchen doubles as a great breakfast room.

Laundry room

The Château also has a laundry room with washing machine (detergent is provided), tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

The swimming pool & outdoor terrace

The heated pool

The 5.50m x 11m heated saline* swimming pool is open between 1st April and October (exact dates depend on the weather). The depth ranges from 1m at the shallow end to around 1m50 et the deep end. The pool is equipped with a rolling cover which ensures the safety of children when closed.

The outdoor terrace

The pool terrace has a dining area with a table seating 20 people, perfect for lunch and dinner by the poolside. You'll also find sun loungers for relaxing in.

Barbecue

Immediately adjacent to the dining area is a stone barbcue.

Maintenance
Our maintenance staff will call by during your stay to ensure the upkeep of the pool and the terrace.

*Our heated saline pools - environmental and safety information

All Kasteliades swimming pools are saline treated pools, as opposed to treated with hard chemical chlorine. This is generally considered to be gentler on the environment as well as on your skin, eyes and hair ! The salinity of the pool water is ten times less than that of seawater and you hardly notice it.

The swimming pool uses a heat pump, the most environment friendly method for heating an outdoor pool. The pump extracts heat from the air to warm the pool water circulating through it. If the air temperature falls below 15°C, we cannot guarantee that the pool will be warm enough.

All Kasteliades swimming pools have a cover to protect the pool and ensure the safety of children when closed. The covers are either flat or raised structural elements.
 

The wellness area

A 50m2 space on the second floor of the Château is totally dedicated to well-being and fitness. This space provides the following equipment:

• Bike trainer
• Elliptical trainer
• Rowing machine
• Weight training tower
• Various weights
• Dumbells
• Mats
• Sauna
• Steam-room

A hi-fi system with blutooth connection will allow you to workout to music.

Massage room
There is also a separate massage room adjoing this area. You can request Dominique, one of our recommended professional masseuse, to come to the Château for a session (details in the section of local services).

On the 1st floor you'll find a lounge with American and English billiards at your disposal.

Poker & Chess Room

The small living room on the ground floor offers a professional Poker game table (and chip case) as well as a chess table.

You'll also find a TV with a Playstation 3 console:  controllers and 20 games are provided.

Covered play area

A covered outdoor area provides the following activities :

• Table tennis (rackets and balls provided)
• Table football
• Darts

Board games

A variety of board games (French versions), is at your disposal: Scrabble, monopoly, chess, checkers, card games, puzzles, etc ...

Televison & Playstation 3

The castle is equipped with 3 HD television screens and blu-ray DVD players:

• A large High Definition screen in the living room, with Blu-Ray DVD player and Astra satellite receiver.
• 2 bedrooms are equipped with HD screens and a Blu-Ray DVD player.

You'll also find a TV in the Poker and Chess room, equipped with a Playstation 3 console:  controllers and 20 games are provided.

Free WiFi / Internet

The Wi-Fi network is available throughout the Château allowing free internet connection.

Bicycles

4 all-road bikes and two child seats are available free of charge for excursions. It is possible to rent more bikes. Please consult the section of our website dedicated to bike-rental here.

Pétanque (French bowls)

The French bowls, or 'pétanque' track, is located near the castle. 16 pétanque bowls are available.
