My wife and I booked this chateau for my 40th birthday, and invited some of the people who were in our wedding. We all took separate vacations and met at the chateau. I cannot overstate the gracious hospitality, the gorgeous surroundings, or the immense charm of this property. The owner of the property was so kind in communications, and even invited us to his house. I could go on for hours, but all you need to do is book this place and go. It's truly wonderful.

Most beautiful housing in the region 😍

The Chateau de Burnand is magnificent! The views are spectacular--rolling hills and gorgeous scenery. There are hiking trails all around the chateau just steps from the chateau. The swimming pool is a great place to relax and enjoy the views. It has a cover that allows you to swim under it if it is raining or chilly. This place is magical. The kitchen is well equipped--two refrigerators and there is a washer/dryer. The owner is a professional who makes sure his properties are well maintained.

This was out third stay at a Kasteliades property and every one of them have exceeded expectations. Chateau du Burnand is a little further south (about an hour from Beaune), but with the lovely village of Saint Gengoux le National nearby, and several hiking paths (a church from 1031? Just down the hill from the chateau) accessible from the house and all of its amenities, you should be in no hurry to leave. With 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers, outdoor grill and a well-equipped kitchen, preparing meals for our larger group was a breeze. Christophe and Sylvia have once again done a masterful job with the restoration and outfitted the chateau well with aesthetically pleasing decor that befits the grand canvas of the home. As always, they were unfailingly pleasant, responsive and communicative throughout our stay. We’ll be back!

The owner has created a dreamlike place at Chateau de Burnand.
Everything is perfect. The Chateau, the rooms, the pool and the garden.The sorroundings and the region, the service . We spent a wonderful week there with our friends. And we are happy to come back next year !

Had an amazing week end, the infrastructure was nice, the château well equipped, a lot of things to do whenever you would like to advertise yourself: pools, poker table(really nice), sauna, hammam, kicker, table tennis, …
